Journaling: A Christmas tornado hit our house yesterday. New toys, wrapping paper, empty plates and cups were everywhere. Daddy & I were exhausted from the past few days. But you were so busy all day playing, playing, playing... and then you crashed hard, falling asleep on the couch. Long enough for Daddy & me to clean up a little, and for you to dream about all your new toys.

This picture sums up our day after Christmas. Exhaustion. We have been going non-stop for two straight days, and today was our day to decompress. It would have been absolutely perfect if tiny little fairies came during the night and cleaned up the house, but no such luck. We did the absolute minimum, and that was enough for us!
