Journaling: We have been playing a game the last few weeks, looking for Christmas lights. A couple of nights ago we drove around browsing neighborhoods for the best displays. Then Aunt Trish recommended homes in the Riverwalk subdivision on Manchester Lane. A group of five neighbors coordinated their homes, and set their Christmas light displays to music tuned on the radio. It was spectacular, and you were entranced by the twinkling lights. You called them fireworks, and that they were. An explosion of light! It was a wonderful way to begin our last week of Advent. Christmas is coming!
I'm going super simple these days with my pages, but it feels right to me. I promised myself that I wouldn't spend a ton of time on this album, capture the most important story for the day and work on my photography. This excursion tonight was fun, and I found my comfort zone on shutter speed with no tripod. It's not perfect, but good enough for me.
A shoutout to Yolanda for her photo inspiration! Thanks girlfriend :-)
